Dr. Subir N. Jhaveri, has been practising exclusive spine surgery, ever since he returned after completing three spine fellowships from Toronto, Canada since July 2007. He has more than 2500 spine surgeries to his credit.

His expertise includes management of all types of spinal disorders; be it trauma, degenerative, tumour, deformity or complex spinal reconstructions. He has been performing Minimal Invasive Spine Surgery (MIS) since his return to India. He has more than 250 MIS Micro-Endocoscopic discectomies (MED) to his credit, and also undertakes MIS Decompressions, Fixations and Fusions. He has performed Artificial Disc Replacements in many patients.

He has been a Faculty at many National Conferences (ASSICON, ICS, MISSICON etc), and has been invited to present his papers at prestigious International Spine Conferences, such as Eurospine, SRS etc. He has been invited as Faculty to conduct Workshops on Minimal Invasive Spine Surgery, as well as Open Cadaveric Spine Surgery Workshops.

  • Awarded SRS International Scholarship- 2006.
  • He has four International publications to his credit and has authored two chapters in Orthopaedic and Spine Surgery Text-books.
  • He is credited with performing the first Kyphoplasty in India, in Dec. 2003.
  • He receives patients from far & wide; across the globe. He has operated on patients from the USA, UK, Africa (Tanzania, Kenya, Congo, Uganda, Zambia etc.) Besides the whole of Gujarat, he also receives patients from places as far as Assam, J & K, Himachal Pradesh, as well as, neighbouring Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh.
